‘Studio Art’ has been founded in 1998, Tbilisi by an art-businessman Nika Machavariani. Ever since, our company’s agenda has been actively and diligently publicizing modern Georgian artists in the field of painting.

From the day when we were founded, our main goal became to make a change in developing and nourishing Georgian fine arts. Consequently, during the 23 years of following our intention, we have managed to collaborate with various Georgian artists in and outside the borders of the country.

Moreover, ‘Studio Art’ has been importing high-quality frames from countries like Italy, Spain, Turkey, China, and South Korea. Our company has also been manufacturing local wooden frames, alongside to printing on canvas and photopaper.

In 2018, after many years of hard work, our company was granted as the ‘Art Business of the Year’ in the magazine ‘Faces’.

‘Studio Art’ keeps improving, and today, our 6 branch stores already exist in 3 cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi.

The company’s future plans of developing are even more interesting, according to which, we want to bring Georgian fine arts outside the borders of the country and introduce it to different cultures around the world.
